This latest kitchen we just finished was a HUGE project. Our client started out with red stained flat front cabinet doors. Although this kitchen had previously been updated for these new homeowners, the flat red doors were just not their style. The cabinets were still solid, but old. My client loves the farmhouse look and has an open floor plan so this large kitchen is the "hub" of the house.

We started out by sanding and cleaning all the doors. The largest part of this project was fitting the trim pieces to each door. Old doors are not always cut square and the majority of these doors had a slight beveled edge, so fitting the trim flush to the edges was not an option. The trim was then glued and pinned in place and each door was then caulked around the edge for a seamless look. In the end, they finished up beautifully and gave this homeowner the updated look she was wanting!
